You, little lady, are now sleeping though the night.
It's been a week, so I think I can stop holding my breath. I wish Dad and I could take credit for this, but really, it has been all you. We have just continued to do what we always do: change you, swaddle you, feed you, turn on the fan for white noise and kiss you good-night. You made the executive decision to drop your 2am wake up and we are happy to follow your lead.
Each day you've stayed asleep a bit longer...we are currently at about 7:15am. I love picking you up in the mornings. When I unwrap you from your swaddle, your arms pop out and your face breaks into a smile. Your dad said it best - it's as if you're a tightly wound jack-in-the-box. I like to think you're saying "TA-DA!" as you grin up at me and take your first big stretch of the day. We are thrilled with your new trick, Ellerie. It's a joy to watch you learn and grow.
yours forever, Mama.
