Celebrate Tuesday. The picture above is my newest stamp. I recently decided I was sick and tired of writing my address on the back or corner of all outgoing (non-etsy) orders. It was time to buy an address stamp. I should have done it two years ago, but now seems like as good a time as any. I ordered from simonstamp.com and at checkout noticed that you can do custom images (at no extra charge). I uploaded my handwritten "celebrate" and ta-da. A new custom stamp. What will I use it on? Any number of things. Mostly outgoing mail. But maybe as a fake tatoo. Maybe on P's homework assignments. Maybe on the mirror when the day is long and boring.
Like yesterday. I should have got out the stamp yesterday. It was a 2 out of 10 on the productivity scale. Partly because I woke up late, but also because I took a two hour nap and watched Freaky Friday on the Disney Channel. Not my finest hour/day. Not at all. (It's not that Freaky Friday isn't a great movie, it's that nothing says "what are you doing with your life?" than the over-achieving kids on the Disney Channel commercials.)
I am hoping for the opposite today. I would love to be 10 out of 10 on the "GET IT DONE" scale. We'll see. I need a list first...
