I feel like I am coming out of a strange holiday haze. Sadly, I'm still jet-lagged. I can't wait to live on the same coast as the extended families. We had Paul's fam over for Christmas Eve and then celebrated very quietly at home on Christmas Day. In the evening, we went and saw Sherlock Holmes. I recently realized I am a little bit in love with Robert Downey Jr. and the movie did not disappoint.
Then yesterday, Mom, Dad, the bro and I drove over to San Francisco to watch USC play Boston College in the Emerald Bowl. College football, I adore. Rain, wind and cold - not so much. Braving the elements was worth it though to see the win. Hoping for a better season next year.
Per usual, I am spending this week thinking about next year. My new year's resolution is to use my gocco machine. That's it. Nice and simple. The other items on my mind so much wishes or plans for the new year as they are must dos. I will get married. I will move across the county. I will work harder to legitimize my crafting hobby. I will learn to be a wife. I will find a new part time job to keep things interesting. I will make new friends. I will keep in touch the old. I will continue to blog in this space. I will continue to make stuff. I will continue to go to the gym. I will maintain this "happy weight." I will resist the urge to get a pet. I will save money. I will do my best.
(I will be blogging throughout the week and then sharing my completed holiday album next Monday when we are back in Maryland. The thoughts and words have been added, but I need to be re-united with my printer to get the photos and finish it all up. I really enjoyed the holiday book process this year.)
