I can't for the life of me figure out how to format our honeymoon into a blog post. So I finally settled on a post with a few words and then a few posts with photos. I will probably use a few other posts to share smaller stories of what we did. In the next month or so, I am going to make a digital album of our trip (similar to this) which will include photos and my commentary on what we did and all that we saw. I will be sure to share the finished product.
Right after the wedding, we spent a week in French Polynesia (if you were like me and are not sure where that is, it's marked with the "A" above.) One night in Tahiti and five nights in an over-water bungalow in Bora Bora. It was the most beautiful setting I can imagine. Pinch-yourself-and-shake-your-head-in-awe-beautiful.
We had a great week. It was romantic and un-romantic. It was serious and hilarious. It was completely what I thought it would be and also totally unexpected. So basically just how our daily life rolls, except we were in paradise. We ate breakfasts outside and fed fish through our floor. We went to bed early and woke up early. We got long massages. We accidentally got sunburned. We snorkeled. We people watched and made up stories for what they were really like. We fished watched and made up stories for them too. We planned our future and laughed about our past. We celebrated happy hour every night. We learned tiny bits of the local language. We ate amazing food.
I hope the photos do it justice. I can't wait to start getting them printed and used in projects.
I also cannot wait to settle into a normal routine as husband and wife.

All photos taken with my little point-and-shoot (a Canon PowerShot SD1000) and a lot of help from the 10 second timer. So much more to come. Thanks for letting me share.
