Sometimes (almost always) the simplest projects are my favorite ones. When I bought this frame for Ellerie's Santa photos, I bought a second one thinking I'd "need" it for something. It sat in my garage for over a year. In February, as part of my "I must clean out every inch of this house" madness, I decided to put it to use.
There are 16 holes and I am going to fill them with a 4x4 black and white photo of Ellerie every year for the next 14. I took these two photos with my iPhone on December 31, 2013 and December 31, 2014. From now on I'll be shooting for the end of each year (though I am not picky about the date). I love it's small and understated (no 8x10s or mats needed) but it's still a great record. I love the black and white (accomplished with the Afterlight and VSCO apps) too.
(Fake) mug shots for the win. GROWTH for the win.
